Pursuant to earlier communication shared with all suppliers, you are fully aware of Sasol’s uncompromising commitment to the elimination of all unethical business practices and in particular, bribery and corruption. With our values and code of conduct as the cornerstones of our business, Sasol applies a ‘zero-tolerance’ approach to non-compliance regarding any legal requirements, in this regard.  
 
Sasol is now embarking on the next series of initiatives ensuring all suppliers are cognizant of requirements and fully comply with our ethical business practices.
 
Previous initiatives have included: 
  • E- Learning modules as well as interpersonal Supplier Training sessions, initiated in 2017.
  • Following a phased communication approach through the Supplier Management website,  facilitating access to all applicable documentation and information, as well as, enabling the  further dissemination thereof into your own respective business platforms during the restricted COVID 19 pandemic.
  • The implementation of  Supplier Ethics and Anti-Bribery online webinars providing suppliers with engagement opportunities to familiarize themselves with the ethical and legal requirements aligned to the Sasol Supplier Code of Conduct and Anti-bribery and corruption policies.
The Next Phase.
 
Sasol is now implementing the next stage in its compliance and regulatory journey. To this end we are hosting  further Supplier Ethics and Anti-Bribery Webinar opportunities for : 
  • New Sasol suppliers  
  • Existing suppliers (who have as yet not met requirements)  
  • Existing suppliers (who would like a refresher or,  have new employees within their own businesses they need to align to requirements)   
Webinar Content: 
  • Requirements to meet regulatory and compliance measures, will be explained.
  • Q & A opportunities to ensure understanding of the requirements.
  • Direct Access to the material shared.   
Please Note: If you attended a previous engagement and are fully aware of what is required in terms of the ; Sasol Code of Conduct; the Supplier Code of Conduct; and the Modern Slavery statement and Human Trafficking policy, you need not attend the next webinars.  As a valued stakeholder however, we kindly request that you partner with us in entrenching these minimum requirements within your organisation.
