Dear Valued Sasol Supplier,
 
Kindly be advised that the Sasol financial year closes on Thursday, 30 June 2022. Please take note of the important deadlines and guidelines in this communication which are applicable to services rendered and goods delivered up to end June 2022.
 
Energy Business Inbound Supply Chain Services will endeavour to capture all financial year-end invoices provided the following guidelines have been adhered to.
 
1.      Suppliers transacting on the ARIBA NETWORK
 
1.1.       Service Entries
 
The deadline for suppliers to submit documentation for services rendered up to June 2022, is no later than 12h00 on Friday 24 June 2022.  Approved documents must be submitted via the invoicing transaction. Suppliers are requested to monitor the Service Entry Sheets submitted and ensure that any failed or rejected invoices are addressed.
 
1.2.       Invoices
 
Invoices are generated and submitted automatically to Sasol. Suppliers have been requested to monitor the invoices submitted and ensure that any failed or rejected invoices are addressed accordingly. Suppliers transacting on the Ariba Network must submit invoices by 27 June 2022.
 
2.      Suppliers not yet transacting on the ARIBA NETWORK
 
2.1       Invoices
 
All suppliers not transacting on the Ariba network need to submit all Purchase Order (PO) invoices and Non-PO related invoices for Financial Year 2022 to Accountspayableinvoices@sasol.com.
 
 
2.2       Service Entries
 
The deadline for suppliers to submit documentation for services rendered up to June 2022, is no later than 12h00 on 27 June 2022.  Approved documents must be submitted to: serviceentryhub@sasol.com.
 
 
3.      Goods Receipt
 
Goods receiving will be processed up to 12h00 on Wednesday, 29 June 2022.  Subsequent to that, warehouses will be closed for normal deliveries up to and including Thursday, 30 June 2022.
 
NOTE:  Deliveries for plant emergencies will however still be received and processed during the abovementioned closed period.
 
Kindly ensure that good governance and due care is applied for all financial year-end approvals.
 
3.      Information Management (IM) Related Services
 
         For IM related services the following applies: 
  • All invoices/JCCs for work completed/to be completed during the month of June 2022 should be submitted not later than the 15 June 2022;
  • All service entries must be in the system on 15 June 2022 to be accepted by Service Owners/Cost Centre Owners;
  • All Items ordered should be delivered to Sasol premises not later than 15 June 2022 to be booked/captured into our SAP system.
  • All new software license procurements must reach the office before 15 May 2022.  Any procurements after 15 May 2022 will only be done after 8 July 2022.
