Dear Valued Supplier,
 
At Sasol, our values and code of conduct are the cornerstones of our business. As a valued supplier, you are aware that we are fully committed to the abolition of all unethical practices, particularly bribery and corruption. Sasol has a zero-tolerance approach for any non-compliance to legal requirements.
 
To ensure that all suppliers comply with our ethical business practices, Sasol has been providing E- Learning and face-to-face Supplier Training sessions since 2017, in this regard.
 
Unfortunately, due to the current Covid-19 pandemic and the associated restrictions, we are unable to host these training sessions as previously planned. Nonetheless, all suppliers are still required to operate within the ethical and legal parameters stipulated in the Sasol Supplier Code of Conduct as well as the Anti-bribery and -corruption requirements.  
 
To this end, we have shared these minimum requirements in two separate training modules on the Sasol Supplier Management Ethics website, in order to continue the fight against economic crime.
 
As a valued stakeholder, we kindly request that you partner with us in entrenching these minimum requirements in your organisation.
Sasol has decided to share this minimum requirements to all suppliers as well as to track Supplier response of this request, instead of the phased approach previously followed. This will also fulfil the need of many suppliers who have requested that this information are shared with their own organisations.
 
Completing this training will enable a greater awareness to identify and “speak up” against any suspicious, unethical and criminal activities.
 
It is important to note that these are not new requirements.  These are the Supplier obligations which are stated clearly in the Sasol Code of Conduct; the Supplier Code of Conduct; the Modern Slavery statement and Human Trafficking policy.
