Dear Valued Supplier,
 
The risk of bribery and corruption is a major concern for both businesses and regulators globally. Cross boarder Anti-bribery legislation seeks to manage corruption and bribery internationally. As an organisation which operates in numerous countries and regions across the globe, Sasol is committed to conducting all our business in line with all jurisdictional legislation.
 
Sasol has stringent Anti-Bribery and Corruption controls in order to reduce the risks that Sasol, or any of our employees, may incur. These risks include but are not limited to regulatory fines, criminal liability or reputational damage as set out amongst others in the Prevention and Combatting of Corrupt Activities Act of 2004, the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977, and the United Kingdom Bribery Act of 2010.
 
Furthermore, we expect all our Suppliers to abide by our Sasol Supplier Code of Conduct and Supply Chain Policy, which stipulates that all suppliers “act ethically and comply with international and local anti-bribery standards and anti-corruption legislation.”
 
In addition to this, we urge our suppliers to subscribe to Sasol’s values which include: “We act with respect and integrity at all times” and “We comply with all applicable legal requirements”.
 
We specifically would like to bring to your attention your legal accountability towards Human Rights, Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking.
